Job Description :

Responsibilities:
Build, manage, and maintain a team of software architects, Integration /developers working on client, platform, and mobile application development projects.
Define and implement strong development processes, reporting, andprogram management under Agile development methodology
Work with Product Development and Systems Architecture organizations tounderstand and manage priorities, resource requirements, and developmenttimelines
Contribute to evolution of product architecture, develop and communicatesoftware development roadmap, with planned release cycles and believableresource plans
Working closely with partners, and integrators and offer leadership inthe use of best practices in Agile methodology and design for repeatability,usability, and test
Working with external development teams and integrators and ensuring theday-to-day aspects of multiple software development projects, includingrequirements documentation and analysis, scoping, planning, scheduling, andbudgeting
Define and track team deliverables and release schedule using trackingsystem and source repository
Ensure effective tracking and management of trouble tickets and relatedissues, provide regular status updates as well as manage issues through timelyand accurate resolution
Develop and management of overall software systems developmentguidelines, ensure adherence to these guidelines across development team
Monitor and manage project deliverables and progress through continuouscommunication with the team of software engineers to meet timelines andpre-defined release cycles

Desired Skills & Experience :

15 years’ experience in a leadership role within software systems development and analysis
Detailed knowledge of Android operating system andapplication framework required
RIM, iOS, and Windows Mobile operating system andapplication framework experience a plus
Has led team of 15-20 professional software developers inemerging services, applications, or similar fields
Experience using and leading teams using Agile developmentmethodology
Minimum of 5 years of software development experience as asenior Architect/developer, ideally developing and implementing enterpriseapplications based on ASP.net (C#) and MS SQL Server (preferably including MVC,Web Services, LINQ, CSS, HTML,HTML5,JavaScript, jQuery, and XML), and/or connected mobile applications (especially iOS, Blackberry, Android, HTML5)
Requires broad knowledge of modern data platformtechnologies and expert knowledge of mobile client-side technologies,specifically Android (Java + Android SDK). Knowledge of any of the followingwill be helpful: iOS, Windows Phone, and Blackberry SDKs, digital video formatsand distribution protocols, web stack technologies (presentation, caching, app,DB, networking), handset idiosyncrasies, and SMS/messaging protocols
Strong Communications and Leadership skills, both at atechnical level and at a business-facing level
Experience developing, implementing, and managing strongsoftware development processes and methodologies in a service-focused andcustomer centric development organization
Excellence in overall program and project management relatedto IT, software, and systems initiatives
Minimum Bachelor’s in Computer Science, InformationTechnology, MIS, or similar; advanced degree a plus
Performance driven, detail and results-oriented
