Prepare the words, slogans or scripts to promote a person, business, opinion or idea; direct mail marketing, sales letters, taglines, postcards, jingle lyrics, brochures, billboards, email advertising, Internet advertising, catalogs, white papers, television or radio commercial scripts, press releases, and other marketing media.
Come up with verbal content that are used alongside the visual elements.
Work closely with the advertising team, and provide input about the visual elements.
Attending meetings with account executives, at which time the client’s requirements and core messages are discussed.
If required Interacting directly with clients to take the brief and advising them regarding content related issues.
Must produce original copy ideas with the objective of capturing the target audience’s attention.
Ensure that the material he/she presents is factually correct and in keeping with the codes of advertising practice.
Delivering within short time frames and meeting tight deadlines.

Excellent command over the English language.
Expert writing skills, editing and proof reading abilities.
Ability to write concise, attention grabbing and hard-hitting copy that puts the message across.
Quick idea generation, ability to come up with ideas at a drop of a hat.
Should have basic knowledge in Photoshop, Corel draw and Illustrator.
Creative bend of mind with strong visualization skills.
